Lies continue to be spread in the Scottish Community, and they must stop now!

On February 15, 2006 said Chief of Clan MacTavish “disavowed” the Dunardry Heritage Association.   What does “disavow” mean?

According to Webster’s it means:

Function: transitive verb
Etymology: Middle English desavowen, from Anglo-French desavouer,

from des- dis- + avouer to avow

1 : to deny responsibility for : REPUDIATE
2 : to refuse to acknowledge or accept : DISCLAIM <party leaders disavowed him>

Now I ask myself, what legal authority does Steven MacTavish have to decide who represents Clan MacTavish?   "None", he,  for the time being has the title of Chief of Clan MacTavish.  This gives him the right to use the COA of Dunardry, again for the time being.  He has no legal authority to anything.  He has no authority to this what so ever.  We are a representative of Clan MacTavish, we may collect dues, we may sell products, we may promote our heritage.  We may do whatever we please.  He has no legal right to keep us out of any games in which we may participate in. 

Now Mr. MacTavish may refuse to acknowledge them all he wants but They will not go away!

Everything on this website is the truth, and is documented.  I ask Mr. MacTavish to immediately stop spreading the lies.  No one but his father, Dugald MacTavish stole any money from the Dunardry Heritage Association.  Funds were not co-mingled, Donley Tomley had access to the Bank Account! Donley Tomley also stole your personal information, and his actions resulted in an insurance investigate and a settlement to the DHA.  There was and is complete transparency.
